December luncheon and projects

December is a fun month in our quilt group. We have a luncheon and there are usually some great ideas for gift-giving and the holidays.

We appreciate everyone bringing and sharing food for the meal and decorations on the tables!

Donna shared several small quilts from panels. These make quick and easy quilts and can easily be dressed up with added borders.

Julie completed this pretty blue and green quilt from our mystery quilt project. It was quilted by Shirley W.

These placemats were made by Barbara. The set makes a fun gift!

This quilt was also made by Barbara and features a panel with the poem "Footprints" as the center.

And Barbara also brought this sampler quilt made from fabric jelly rolls.

Linda made this pink pinwheel quilt from fabrics she received at the chinese auction when our group brought fabric and quilting items we didn't want and had and exhange.

Ilene's buzz saw quilt is beautiful. The circle quilting inn the buzz saws is really great.

Stephanie L. shared some of the fabric flowers she made for gifts for little girls.

Stephanie used blocks from the mytery quilt to make a table runner. The pattern all depends on how you place the blocks!

There were also some doll quilts and doll clothes made for gifts and charity giving from Rose, Vicky and Ilene.
